Beautiful restaurant, excellent food and lots of it. Great staff. Very affordable. One of my favs when I'm traveling up North.

Service is terrible cant judge food quality because after waiting over an hour for our food we chose to pay for our drinks and leave. Would not recommend to anyone who wants lunch in under an hour.

Good food alittle pricey but worth it

Terrible service can't judge food quality because after waiting over an hour for our order and watching other tables get there food. We choose to pay for our drinks and leave. Not a place I would recommend for lunch unless you have 2 spare hours for lunch.

Try the zucchini sticks served with roumalade. Yummy! Local brewery 1st Mile ales are yummy too

Look it's worth the trip north. I definitely recommend lunch. Although dinner is no slouch. It always has a really friendly feeling. The cole slaw is fantastic. I'd go there just for that. But everything else also is good best way to dine? Get a group together amd go.

The food was good. The waitress was very nice. My mashed potatoes were cold.

Great food, worth a stop

Food was very good, got more than I expected. Waitress was friendly and came back several times for refills and etc. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Deep fried pie was amazing, can't wait to make my way back for some more.

Entrees were solidly good and quite generous portions. Service was prompt and friendly. The real star was dessert, deep fried apple pie. It was amazing, if you're in the area you must go try it.

The food is excellent and always consistant week to week.....

The food was pretty good. The portions were okay. The constant Flies buzzing around and attempting to land on the food was disgusting. I can take a fruit fly, but house fly I can’t do.

If you want to Spend hours get lunch this is your placeLiterally 2.5 hoursFelt bad for our waiter who kept saying sorry,but it still doesn’t cut itI gave it 2 stars because they have been great in the past

Every thing is awesome

Great diner food! Especially after getting off a 7 day canoe trip on the Allagash. We had a ton of apps and then burgers, all of which was delicious, they also have a bar and we got some nice ice cold 20Oz pints. Overall the service was very friendly and exactly what you'd expect from a small town establishment!

Great service and easy access for snowmobiles

The constant flies landing on the food is gross. It happens every time I go to the place.

The service was great, the waitresses were smiling and often made sure we didn't run out of drinks. There are few vegan options : french and sweet potato fries, potato skin with brocoli, nachos (chips and salsa) and some salads without meat and dressing. Overall, I had a great experience!

The Swamp Buck has consistently good food and the service is excellent. I have had so many different entrees here and each have been delicious and full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The service is very attentive without being annoying and the staff is always friendly.

Our experience was very pleasant! The food was delicious! Everything came out in a timely manner, and our waitress was attentive. The atmosphere is cozy, with focus on the hunting crowd. Very homey! Prices are reasonable for the (high) quality of the food.

With a name like 'Swamp Buck' I had imagined low quality food on the cheap. Instead I found a well run restaurant with delicious food. The price was higher than expected, but I would definitely go back.

Service was inatentive, she forgot our salads and didn't care. For the price the portions were small. The restaurant is clean and bright.
